LIMA, PERU — Peru is once again competing at the highest level of global tourism after securing 11 nominations in the world edition of the World Travel Awards 2026, widely known as the “Oscars of Tourism.” Following a successful regional campaign where the country won six awards in the South America edition earlier this year, Peru aims to surpass the four global trophies earned in 2025.
Official voting opened on October 6 and will close on Friday, October 30, at 7:00 PM (Peru Time).
