Day 1: Cusco – Poroy – Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Poroy – Cusco

We will begin with pick-up from your hotel in Cusco and transfer to Poroy Station. We will board the Hiram Bingham train to Aguas Calientes and, upon arrival, continue by private bus to Machu Picchu. We will enjoy a private guided visit to the citadel and then enjoy Tea Time at Sanctuary Lodge. Finally, we will descend to Aguas Calientes to take the return train to Poroy and continue by private transportation to Cusco.

Luxury Experience Hiram Bingham 1-Day Itinerary

We will begin this exclusive experience between 08:00 and 08:30 with pick-up from your hotel in Cusco, followed by a transfer to the train station in Poroy. At 09:05, we will board the tourist train bound for Aguas Calientes, enjoying a special experience along the way, surrounded by the beautiful Andean landscapes that accompany the route to Machu Picchu. Upon arrival, between 12:30 and 13:00, we will take a private tourist bus for the group up to the entrance checkpoint of the citadel.

At 13:00, we will begin our private guided tour of Machu Picchu, accompanied by a professional guide who will introduce us to the main areas of the citadel and allow us to appreciate its history and legacy in greater detail. The visit will last until approximately 15:30. At the end of the tour, we will head to the Sanctuary Lodge to enjoy our Tea Time, an ideal moment to relax and enjoy the experience before continuing our journey.

Afterwards, we will take a private bus for the group down to Aguas Calientes, where we will head to the station to board the tourist train back to Poroy. The return journey is scheduled between 17:15 and 21:00. Once in Poroy, our transportation will be waiting for us to transfer you back to your hotel in Cusco. Finally, between 21:10 and 21:50, we will conclude this luxury experience after a day dedicated to discovering Machu Picchu with exclusive service and special attention throughout the journey.

Can I visit Huayna Picchu mountain when I do the luxury machu picchu tours?

Yes, you can visit the Huayna Picchu mountain, but only in the 2-day version, because due to the schedule in which we take this service, it does not give us the flexibility to do it in only 1 day. The best thing is to visit Machu Picchu on the first day, enjoy the night in Aguas Calientes and on the second day walk the Huayna Picchu mountain calmly to be able to return to Cusco in the afternoon.

If I already bought my Vistadome ticket, can I upgrade it to Hiram Bingham?
