Day 1: Arrival in Lima
Our 10 Days Peru: Machu Picchu and Titicaca Lake package begins with your arrival and reception at the airport of the city of Lima, we will transfer you to the Hotel of your choice where you can rest the rest of the night.
Day 2: Lima City Tour
After breakfast, our staff will pick you up from the hotel to take a guided tour of the city of Lima, there you will know the Cathedral, the Main Square, the Catacombs of San Francisco, among others. In the afternoon we will visit the archaeological site of Pachacámac. At the end we will take you to the hotel.
Day 3: Lima – Cusco – City Tour in Cusco
This morning we will take you from the hotel to the airport to take the flight to the city of Cusco. The travel time is approximately 70 min, we will arrive in the morning and transfer it to the hotel of your choice where you can rest for a few hours.
Around 13:30 hrs we will start a guided tour of the city center where you will appreciate the Cusco Cathedral, the Qoricancha temple, the Sacsayhuaman Inca fortress, the archaeological complexes of Qenqo and Puka Pukara. Overnight will be at the hotel in Cusco.
Day 4: Sacred Valley of the Incas Tour
After breakfast around 08:30 a.m. We prepare for the full day excursion through the Sacred Valley of the Incas. First we will visit the archaeological site of Pisac and the old market of the same town, continuing to go to Urubamba, where we will enjoy lunch. At the end we will leave for the Inca city of Ollantaytambo.
In the afternoon, we will travel by train to Aguas Calientes, the town at the foot of Machu Picchu. The night will be spent in a hotel in Aguas Calientes.
Day 5: Machu Picchu Tour
The most anticipated day of our peru 10 days package arrived. When you wake up, you will have the pleasure of enjoying the wonderful sunrise of Machu Picchu. We take a tourist bus to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, in the place we will have a guided tour of the main attractions of Machu Picchu, one of the 7 Wonders of the Modern World. Here you will have the opportunity to meet, walk, take photos and rest in the ancient Inca Citadel.
The return to the city of Cusco will be in the afternoon on board the train service of your choice to Ollantaytambo and then we connect with the return by tourist bus to your hotel in the city of Cusco for your rest.
You will have time to rest after your adventure in Machu Picchu.
Day 6: Maras and Moray Tour
This day we will visit two archaeological complexes related to Inca agriculture: the salt mines of Maras and the experimental cultivation center of Moray. Here you will appreciate the skill and cunning of the ancient Incas to take full advantage of the farmland. You will rest in your hotel in the city of Cusco.
As an OPTIONAL activity, you can attend the folk dance show at the Qosqo Center for Native Art. To include this activity, we ask you to notify us at the time of booking.
Tip: We recommend you sleep early this day to start the tour the next day early.
Day 7: Ruta del Sol Tour
We pick you up from the hotel and go to the bus station to start the Tour of the Sun Route. On the tour we will know various attractions such as the colonial-style Andahuaylillas church, the Raqchi Archaeological Complex, the Raya Pass, the Pucará Museum and more.
Upon arrival we transfer you to the hotel of your choice in the city of Puno (If you prefer you can travel by plane to Juliaca and then by bus to Puno coordinate it beforehand).
Day 8: Uros and Amantani Island Tour
After breakfast at the hotel, you will have a motorized boat tour on Lake Titicaca. We will take a tour of the island of Los Uros, continuing to visit the island of Amantani, the inhabitants of the place will give you a warm welcome and you will appreciate their customs and traditions. You will have lunch typical food on that island. We will end the tour of this day with the overnight in a family home of the inhabitants of Amantani.
Day 9: Taquile Island Tour – Puno
We will start the second day of the tour of Lake Titicaca. We will visit the island of Taquile where you will know the customs of this town. Take the opportunity to meet the locals and chat with them. Then we will transfer you to your hotel in Puno.
Day 10: Puno – Juliaca – Lima
In the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel to go to Juliaca airport to take the flight back to Lima. This is the end of our 10 days in peru package: Machu Picchu and Titicaca Lake.
