The Half-Day Cusco City Tour is an ideal experience for discovering some of the city’s most representative historical and archaeological sites and its surroundings in a single day. During the tour, we’ll visit important sites in the historic center and then continue to the upper part of Cusco, where we’ll find impressive remnants of the Inca period.

This experience is designed to fit different schedules. You can choose to take the tour in the morning or, if you prefer to have the first few hours of the day available for other activities, opt for the afternoon departure. In both cases, we’ll visit the same attractions and enjoy the experience accompanied by our guide.

Itinerary Overview

Option 1: Morning City Tour

We’ll begin the experience with pickup from your hotel between 08:40 and 09:30 a.m. and head to the historic center of Cusco, where we’ll visit the Cathedral and the Temple of the Sun. We’ll then continue to the upper part of the city to explore Saqsayhuaman. Afterward, we’ll visit Qenqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay, exploring important archaeological sites from the Inca period. Finally, we’ll begin our journey back to the city of Cusco to conclude the experience.

13:30 – 15:00 We begin the experience with a visit to the Cathedral of Cusco and then continue to the Temple of the Sun.
At the end of our transport, it awaits us to reach the upper part of the city.
15:20 – 16:20 We enjoy the guided tour in Saqsayhuaman.
16:20 – 18:00 We continue our journey to reach the rest of the archaeological sites such as Qenqo, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay.
18:00 – 18:30 Our trip back to the city of Cusco begins.

What entrance tickets are the ones we will use during the experience ?

For this experience we will use the partial tourist ticket tickets (City Tour), entrance to the cathedral of Cusco and also entrance to the temple of the Sun or Qoricancha, when making the reservation with us we ensure that all the entrances are reserved in advance.

How should I pack my luggage ?

Our departure will be at noon so it is more than recommended to go out with light clothes but it ends late so adding warm clothes is the best. Also carrying snacks will be useful, documents are essential so you should always keep them separate.

How many people participate in the service?

Regularly, in our experience, between 12 to 15 people participate, the group can naturally be smaller, however it is the average amount. We ensure that it is not so big with the intention that the experience is personalized.
